Who is Sonia Doohan?

A national president of the Nationalist Student Congress (NCP), Sonia Doohan is also the national spokesman for the organisation. She is a prominent political figure. Before being chosen to her current position as National President of the NCP, Sonia held the positions of State President and National General Secretary of the NCP Students Union. She was born on September 13th, 1992 in Haryana, India.

Professional Career

At the age of 21, Sonia Doohan, who was born in the Hisar region of Haryana, became a member of the NCP and began her career as a student politician. After completing her education in the Hisar area, Doohan relocated to Ambala so that she could attend Kurukshetra University and earn a Bachelor of Science degree. It was in this setting that she was first exposed to politics, and it was then that she made the decision to join the NCP.

Doohan was appointed to the role that she currently holds after successfully leading the NCP students’ wing in two elections held at Delhi University. The first time, she served as the Party’s state president, and the second time, she served as the National General Secretary. She was elevated to the position of national president of the students’ wing of the NCP.
